Reunion Gold Corporation is a leading gold exploration company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing gold projects in the Guiana Shield, South America. In early 2021, the Company made an exciting new gold discovery at its 100% owned Oko West Project in Guyana where, after only 22 months of drilling, the Company announced an initial Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) containing 2.475 Moz of gold in Indicated resources grading 1.84 g/t Au and 1.762 Moz of gold in inferred resources grading 2.02 g/t Au at the Kairuni zone. The Company is pursuing a dual track strategy at Oko West of 1) Rapidly advancing development of the Kairuni zone MRE with the intention of releasing an updated resource and PEA by the end of Q2 2024. 2) Continue to drill and explore the Oko West property with the goal of a) expanding the MRE to depth between 500 and 1,000 m where a high-grade zone within the resource remains open to expansion, b) Exploration to identify potential satellite resource areas at Oko West within the very prospective Takutu and Bryan zone target areas. In addition, Reunion Gold is looking to acquire and explore additional projects in the Giana Shield within both Guyana and Suriname.
